6 weeks to Belgium. This is getting real, friends!
We finally have movers assigned to us, which was so good to see in the system.😊 They are movers I've never heard of and can't find much info on, so we are going to make some calls tomorrow to get more information.
We took Liam to Seattle Children's for his check-socket appointment for his prosthetic leg. It looked really good! They had to make a few tweaks to it, which is normal. We will go back in for the final fitting in 3 weeks, so we will have a bit of time left if we need any changes made before we move.
Our first car was finally loaded onto the ship last week and is now sailing to Belgium. It will be there when we arrive, which we hoped for. Yay!
We have also arranged for our second car to be shipped at the beginning of June. I mentioned before that it will be more expensive than we planned, but thankfully, we found out that the military will be providing a dislocation allowance for the move, which will cover this cost, and that's a huge blessing.
I am dealing with a cold right now. I suppose, since I almost never get sick and nothing is going on right now, it's as good a time as any to get it out of the way. Especially since I'm going to be flying to Colorado to see Peyton when the new baby arrives in two weeks! I'm SO excited and happy for her!
We have been enjoying the warm sunny days here in Washington and will miss this area's beauty, but we are ready for our big move!
